Power-saving cloud communication with cellular LPWA (LTE-M)
Armadillo-IoT Gateway A6 is a small IoT gateway that operates with less power consumption than the conventional model. Equipped with a cellular LPWA (LTE-M) module that can communicate with the cloud with ultra-low power consumption. When building a self-supporting system, solar panels and storage batteries can be made smaller, and the cost of the entire system can be significantly reduced.
Equipped with NXP i.MX 6ULL
The SoC "i.MX 6ULL" (manufactured by NXP Semiconductors) of Arm Cortex-A7 (528MHz) is adopted.
Supports intermittent operation
By operating the gateway intermittently, even finer power saving is possible. It consumes almost no power during sleep and can be started at high speed immediately from that state. It activates the gateway only when necessary, communicates with the cloud, and realizes operations such as re-sleeping after data transmission.
Equipped with secure element
The secure element "SE050" made by NXP Semiconductors is installed as standard. By using this, you can achieve high security by hardware root of trust.
Application development
Debian GNU / Linux pre-installed
Armadillo-IoT Gateway A6 is a Debian GNU / Linux pre-installed platform. Users can freely design, develop, and write gateway functions, including how to use the network and how to communicate with the cloud, to create various products.
Development language
As a development language, you can freely install not only C / C ++ language but also scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, and Node.js from the abundant packages provided by Debian. You can also use them to drive native development on the Armadillo-IoT gateway.
Cloud compatible
You can easily connect to various public clouds by installing AWS IoT Device SDK and Azure IoT SDK. It is also possible to support on-premises and proprietary specifications using protocols such as MQTT, REST, and WebSocket.
Development environment
For cross development, you can use the free Armadillo exclusive development environment "ATDE". By using ATDE, you can reduce the trouble of preparing the development environment such as preparing a development PC and installing tools.
